Brief Introduction of the Author

Chen
Bin, associate professor, who was born in 1962 in Wuhan, Hubei Province,
graduated as an undergraduate from the English Department of Hubei
Institute for Nationalities, and earned a master's degree from the
History Department of Peking University in 1994. In 1999, he joined
the grand website, which is www.etrave.net.cn. He is now engaged
in English teaching and research at Beijing Agricultural Administrators
College |
His
translation works include three-hundred-year Modernization Progress
in Latin America and The Authoritative Edition of Lao Zi's Dao De
Jing. He is also the author of the article Some Difficult Points
in Translating Lao Zi's Dao De Jing from Chinese to English. He
has given lectures on Lao Zi's Dao De Jing at Peking University,
Beijing Foreign Studies University and other colleges and universities
in Beijing and his lectures have been well received by the audience.
