Chen Bin was one of earliest persons who got in touch with me when I compiled The Authoritative Edition of Lao Zi's Dao De Jing. He soon got to know its real value: the gems of the traditional Chinese culture--the scripture of the Dao and Virtue, the precious deposits of wisdom.

From the deepening of his study he has had high attainments in Dao De Jing. Now he has translated it into English. It is a good thing for man can improve his moral level, develop his wisdom, cure his illnesses and keep himself strong and healthy through reciting The Authoritative Edition of Lao Zi's Dao De Jing according to the necessities for the practice of the Natural Spirit of Gongfu.

I am very glad to know that the English version of the book will soon come out. I hope it will help purify man's mind and bring about the steady improvement in human morality!
