Yutian Music and Dance
In
Han Dynasty, Yutian Music was one of the constantly
played pieces of music. Emperor GaoZu always
stayed in WeiYang Palace, enjoying this lively
tune. At the time of North West Dynasty, Yutian
Music and Dance became popular in Central Plain
area and had made great influence.
In
Tang Dynasty Yutian Music and Dance had some
relationship with the popularization of Western
Regions’ music in Chang’an. Yutian Music together
with Shule Music, Guizi Music, Gaokang Music,
Yizhou Music and Yueban Music had great influence
on music in Central Plain area.
Nowadays,
Hetian the so-called Hometowns of Music and
Dance is much more prosperous in artistic performances.
